Terms & Conditions
The terms, in plain words.
These terms govern your use of cardkhata (cardkhata.in). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them — so here they are, written to be actually read.
Last updated: 12 September 2026
The service
cardkhata is a credit-card statement analyzer for the Indian market, operated from India by the site owner (developer site: ankitbhardwaj.in). You forward the statement emails your card issuers already send you; cardkhata parses them and shows you your own spending analytics — categorised transactions, EMI schedules, fees, and month-to-month comparisons.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use cardkhata. By using the service you confirm that you are, and that the statements you forward are your own (or ones you are authorised to share, such as a family member’s with their consent).
Your account and acceptable use
- Keep your account credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information — the optional profile details exist only to unlock your own statement PDFs.
- Forward only statements you are entitled to. Do not upload someone else’s financial documents without their consent.
- Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, probe, or overload it, no scraping other users’ data, no reverse engineering, and no use that is unlawful in India.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
Subscriptions and payment
cardkhata is a paid, subscription-only service: Monthly at ₹149/month or Annual at ₹1,199/year (prices in INR), billed through a third-party payment gateway (Razorpay and/or Cashfree). The plan and price are shown before you pay, and there are no hidden charges. You can cancel anytime from your Profile page; the full cancellation and refund rules are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Not financial advice
cardkhata provides information and analytics about your own statements. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for the official records your card issuer provides. Figures are parsed from documents and can contain errors — always verify against your issuer’s statement before acting on a number.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your subscription yourself from your Profile page at any time — access continues until the paid period ends; there is no separate account deactivation. We may suspend or close accounts for breach of these terms or misuse of the service. Our Privacy Policy describes what happens to your data and how to request deletion.
Service provided “as is”
cardkhata is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including uninterrupted availability, error-free parsing, or fitness for a particular purpose. We work to keep the service accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, cardkhata and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service — including decisions made on the basis of parsed figures. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid to cardkhata in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date, and give notice in the product for significant changes. Continuing to use cardkhata after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions about these terms: support@cardkhata.in.
